The Story of 33mm
33mm is named after the average size of the Hippocampus, which is responsible for feelings of nostalgia.
In honour of that feeling, let's wind it back to the early days of 33mm.
SCENE 1
The scene opens with Subin and Mike [Business Partners] sketching jewellery designs as golden hour creeps into the studio.
MUSIC CUE: (Sittin’ on) The Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding.
SUBIN: Otis would be a good name for this ring.
MIKE: Yeah I like that.
SCENE 2
The camera follows Mike as he walks through the street. He enters a vintage shop, begins looking through the rails, then takes out his phone and calls Subin.
MIKE: I think we need to start making clothes.
SUBIN: That could be cool, what are you thinking?
MIKE: I just can’t find nice basics that are made well and fit the way I want them to.
SCENE 3
[MONOLOGUE]
MIKE: Apparel changed the game for us. All of a sudden we were inundated with likes, comments & DMs.
